We have so much going on here at Paws and would love to have you be a part of it! Here are some of the ways we’d love to have you join us!
Farmhand
Volunteer farm hands have the best job, Get up close and personal with our animals and find your moment of Zen.
Animal Chores - Morning/Evening
- Feeding and watering the animals
- Grooming
- Light mucking of barns
Farm Chores - Anytime
- Mowing
- Fence & pasture repair/maintenance
- Special projects
What to Expect
- You will train with someone else until you feel comfortable handling the work on your own
- A one hour Animal Handling class will be required
Tours and Events
Volunteers for our summer season can help while the Sanctuary is open to the public in several capacities.
Greet visitors at our open house hours Saturdays July-September.
Be available to share information about our Alpacas, Goats, chickens, and dogs while visitors tour the Sanctuary
Help set up the barns and fields for visitors every weekend.
Help host and manage our fundraising events including:.
- The Sanctuary concert series
- Open Houses on Saturdays
- Blessing of the Animals fest in October
- Community outings & events
What to Expect
- Work with us to help create fun, family friendly events for everyone
- Help with organization, set up and tear down
Development
Help us raise awareness and funds for Paws for Humanity, including:
- Sponsor relationship development
- Fundraising activities & programs
- Marketing for our organization and our events
What to Expect
- Work as part of a small team
- Build packages from local sponsors for fundraiser silent auctions
- Develop new and exciting ways to help us spread the word
