NEW LIFE!!

SURPRISE!  Meet Gabby, our new baby goat!  So much for family planning… we thought we still had a month to go!

We were outside today, deciding what projects to tackle, and Janey just kept talking at us, walking in circles.  She had food, water, looked good, just kept talking and talking.  I went out front to do some mowing, and within a half hour Dale came and told me to put the mower away… I’d probably be busy for a while.  He walked me to the side of the barn and there she was.  Beautiful.  Already cleaned off, standing strong on her own, and momma Janey still cleaning her.  Within just a few more minutes, she started nursing. AMAZING!  New life!  Pure love.
